Then you’ve come to the right place! As a passionate fly fisherman, I know well what your wishes are. We offer various modules for both beginners and experienced fly fishermen. This can consist of a course in which you learn the basics about equipment, casting and then actually go fishing on the river or lake. This can be further expanded in which we delve even deeper into the technology and all the ‘tricks of the trade’.

No worries about rods and materials! Can you use this from us and do you like it? Then you can also buy these from us so that you can get started right away.
For the experienced fly fisherman, the ‘Guide’ option can be booked in which I take you to the best spots on various rivers and lakes. Our location is real close to the Ammerån river, witch is known for its high grayling and trout stock. The hidden small rivers and lakes in Ragunda are also highly recommended for fly fishing!

In this 1 on 1 activity I take you into Swedish nature of the Ragunda Valley.

We take special pictures of all the big and small game. Nature here offers a very wide range of exceptionally beautiful animals and this often results in beautiful images. Depending on your wishes, this can be an active or passive activity. Large game such as elk, deer, reindeer, foxes, lynx and bears simply do not show themselves when you walk around and we therefore deal with them differently. This means camouflage, being quiet and sitting and having patience. Smaller game, on the other hand, must be actively sought and this means covering miles and focusing! Would you like to experience this too? Then don’t hesitate and book this great activity in both the winter and summer months. Naturally, every season has its charms and unique properties in the lives of the animals themselves, this of course also influences the end result of your photos. Your own camera is required!

What could be better than taking a nice long walk through nature?

In this activity I will take you on a guided hike through the forests and along rivers and streams. Along the way I will also tell you about the beautiful Ragunda valley and all the beautiful things to see there. Of course we occasionally interrupt the hike to rest or to enjoy one of the entire views and a real Swedish Fika cannot be missed. We have different routes and distances that can be walked, to serve everyone as best as possible and to provide an experience that suits you.

Experience an unforgettable culinary experience with our fish and meat smoking workshop at Ragunda Outdoor in Jämtland.

In this activity I will teach you the secrets of smoking with our professional smoker. This provides the right techniques to smoke fish, meat and vegetables perfectly, from selecting ingredients to salting and controlling the correct smoking time and temperature. Enjoy a hands-on experience as you prepare your own dishes and taste the delicious results. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to improve your culinary skills and discover new flavors.

In cooperation with Andreas Göransson, owner of “Wildlife Experience” and good friend, we offer an unforgettable night in a hide out where you can see bears and other predators.

The hide out has room for 2 people and you will be escorted by us around 17:00 to the location. After explaining about the bears and other wildlife that visit the legal feeding areas, the door will close and a special experience will begin that you will not soon forget.

This night filled with Scandinavian light gives you the opportunity to get a good look at the predators and take unforgettable pictures. Think not only of bears but also the wolverine, golden eagle, foxes and other magnificent animals that live here in the Ragunda Valley.

Around 8:00 you will be picked up again and we would love to hear the great stories you experienced this night. The hide out can be booked from May 15 to July 31.

View the landscape from the water!

We have 2 Canadian canoes that we rent out.
These are each for 3 people and include life jackets and paddles. You get a completely different view of the landscape when you travel down the Indalsälven River in a canoe. The silence and tranquility immediately give you a feeling of freedom. There are plenty of beautiful places along the way where you can stop and enjoy a drink or lunch. We rent the canoes per half day.
